Nativity Star Ornament

This nativity star ornament is one of my favorite pieces to make each holiday season. I layer a metallic gold acrylic star over a clear acrylic backing, then laser cut and engrave a silhouette of Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus at the manger right into the center. The eight-pointed star shape and etched floral border give it a bit of stained-glass elegance, and it comes finished with a soft ivory ribbon, ready to hang the moment it arrives.

Each one is cut and engraved by hand in my studio from two layers of acrylic, so you're getting a piece made with real care, not a mass-produced stamping. It measures approximately 4" x 4.3" — light enough for even delicate branches, substantial enough to be the focal point on a mantel, wreath, or gift tag.
