Gingerbread Man Classroom Teacher Ornament

I love making these — there's something about a gingerbread man covered in student names that just feels like the holidays. Across the top he's engraved with "Teacher of Smart Cookies," and down his little body goes the whole class, name by name, so every kid gets a spot on the tree. The teacher's name lands on one foot, the year on the other, so it becomes a tiny time capsule of this exact group of kids.

I cut and engrave each one from wood right in my studio, and honestly, teachers seem to love getting a new one every year to look back on their classes over time. It's an easy, meaningful gift for a teacher who's given a lot this year.
